Installing replacement basement windows — St. Petersburg, FL

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

Replacing windows involves several variables that change the final bill. The size and style of the window are big factors; fixed glass usually costs less than units that open, like double-hung or casement styles. Your choice of frame material—vinyl, wood, or fiberglass—also shifts the number significantly, as does the glass package you choose for energy efficiency. The complexity of the installation matters too, especially if there is existing rot or if the home needs structural work to fit new frames. Exact pricing confirmed free on the call.

About this service

This process involves removing old, drafty basement windows and fitting modern, weather-tight units into your foundation openings. Many people choose to do this when their current frames are rotting, leaking, or if they want to improve home security and energy efficiency. Because basement windows are often located below grade, we use specialized drainage and sealing techniques to prevent leaks. It is a smart move if you notice moisture buildup or want to stop cold air from entering your lower level.
